NEW YORK
The Sussex troop met at B.P. House. London at 1 p.m. on Saturday. They left London Airport by Air France in a Boeing 707 to arrive in New York the same day. There they had a chance to look round before leaving in a World Airways Boeing 707 for Spokane. the 50 mile journey from Spokane to the jamboree site was by bus. On August 10 the Sussex troop is to leave Spokane Airport for Kansas City, where Scouts and Scout leaders will receive American hospitality in individual homes They arrive back at Heathrow Airport on August 20.
